Audiology Systems Inc, the new United States distributor for GN Otometrics products and other diagnostic audiology companies, has named Michel Jurgens as the company's general manager. In this new position at the newly formed company, Jurgens will be responsible for overseeing all daily operations, including sales and service management and marketing initiatives. Jurgens joins Audiology Systems from GN Otometrics, where he held several positions during his 8-year tenure, both at the GN Otometrics corporate headquarters in Denmark and at GN Otometrics North America. He joined the company in 2004 as a commercial product manager in Denmark. Most recently, he was the manager of the sales, audiology and marketing department in GN Otometrics North America. “Michel was our first choice to head up Audiology Systems,” said Uffe Bjerg, chairman, Audiology Systems Board of Directors. “He has the experience, the vision and the energy to lead the company as it seeks to set a new standard for customer care among distributors in the hearing and vestibular industry.” Audiology Systems is a national partnership owned by a group of shareholders, including GN Otometrics, which is a minority shareholder in the company SOURCE: Audiology Systems Inc
