Sensaphonics, a Chicago-based in-ear monitoring and hearing health solutions company, has moved to a newly expanded space in Lincoln Park designed to support increased production capacity, enhanced clinical services, and continued research and development.

Sensaphonics relocated its office and clinic facilities as of May 1, 2026, ending a 34-year tenure at its previous Chicago address. The company’s new space at 848 W. Eastman St., Suite #104, Chicago, IL 60642, in the Lincoln Park neighborhood near Goose Island, brings manufacturing, clinical services, and educational efforts under one roof.

The new facility was designed with working musicians and audio professionals in mind, featuring expanded audiology and lab space, enhanced facilities for virtual appointments, and dedicated demo areas intended to provide more immersive, real-world listening experiences. The location also offers improved public transportation access and proximity to major venues in the city.

Founded in 1985 by music audiologist Michael Santucci, AuD, Sensaphonics has built its reputation on hearing health solutions for high-SPL environments, particularly within the music industry. The company serves musicians, audio engineers, and industry professionals with custom in-ear monitors, hearing protection, and sound level monitoring tools.

“This move represents more than just a change of address,” says Santucci, in a release. “It’s an investment in the future of hearing health. Our expanded facility allows us to push further into research, education and product development, while continuing to provide the personalized, high-quality care our clients rely on. We’re creating an environment where innovation and clinical expertise can work even more closely together.”

The upgraded facility is also expected to support Sensaphonics’ ongoing hearing health education and advocacy efforts, including training programs for audiologists and outreach initiatives within the music and pro audio communities — areas the company has emphasized over the course of its four decades in operation.

With growing demand for hearing protection and safe listening solutions across live sound, broadcast, and personal listening environments, the expanded space is intended to position Sensaphonics to serve its global customer base more effectively. The company’s current product lineup includes the 3DME Active Ambient system and the dB Check Pro sound level analyzer, alongside its custom in-ear monitors used by touring artists and engineers worldwide.

The move also aligns with recent company momentum, including the addition of audiologist Shannon Switzer, AuD, to the Sensaphonics team and a Hearing Tech Innovator Award win in partnership with ASI Audio.
