The International Hearing Society (IHS) has announced its 2026 award recipients, honored for their professional excellence, advocacy, leadership, and dedication to advancing the highest standards of patient care. These outstanding individuals will be recognized at “From the 50s to the Future: The Closing Awards Celebration,” on August 15, during the 2026 IHS Conference & Expo in Washington, D.C.
The following individuals and chapter will be honored during the IHS 2026 Conference & Expo:
- Lifetime Achievement Award: Michael Stone, BC‑HIS (Kentucky)
- The Hearing Review Professional Leadership Award: Leanne Polhill, BA, BC‑HIS (Florida)
- Outstanding Professional Member: Bonny Jo Archuleta, BC‑HIS (Texas)
- James P. Lovell Advocacy Award: Harry Leibovich, BS, ACA, BC‑HIS (Utah)
- Legacy Impact Award: Edward Lybarger, BC‑HIS (Ret.) (Pennsylvania)
- Chapter of the Year: Texas Hearing Aid Association
