The recognition adds to a string of industry honors for Starkey’s flagship hearing technology platform in 2026.
Starkey‘s Omega AI has been named a winner in the Best Use of Artificial Intelligence category at the 2026 Healthcare Eagles Awards, the Eden Prairie, Minn.-based company announced Aug. 10. The Healthcare Eagles Awards recognize excellence and innovation across the healthcare industry, with a focus on organizations and technologies making a meaningful impact on patient care and healthcare delivery.
Omega AI is Starkey’s most advanced hearing technology platform, built on machine learning and deep neural network capabilities designed to optimize hearing performance across challenging listening environments. Central to the platform is DNN 360, a deep neural network-powered directionality system designed to identify and enhances speech from all directions to support speech clarity in difficult acoustic conditions. The platform also includes health and wellness monitoring features, enhanced connectivity, and personalized support tools.

The Healthcare Eagles Award follows a series of recent industry accolades for Omega AI. Earlier this year, the platform received a 2026 BIG Innovation Award and a 2026 AI Excellence Award, as well as an AI Innovation Award, continuing a run of external validation for Starkey’s applied AI work in hearing healthcare.
