Ampetronic and Listen Technologies have promoted Kevin Jewkes to senior VP of global revenue and appointed Alan Kennedy as VP of operations, expanding the company’s executive leadership team as it pursues continued global growth in assistive listening and inclusive audio solutions.

Listen Technologies, known for its advanced wireless listening solutions, and Ampetronic, known for its hearing loop systems, have bolstered their joint executive leadership team with two appointments aimed at scaling its global operations and go-to-market reach. Kevin Jewkes has been promoted to senior vice president of global revenue, while Alan Kennedy joins the organization as vice president of operations. Both report directly to president and CEO Maile Keone.

“By strengthening our executive leadership team, we are building the foundation needed to scale globally, accelerate innovation, deepen customer and partner relationships, and advance our mission to make clear, accessible audio available to everyone,” says Keone, in a release.

Jewkes Takes on Global Revenue Leadership

Jewkes has been with Listen Technologies since 2013, holding sales roles of increasing responsibility throughout his tenure. Most recently, he served as chief of staff — a role previously covered by The Hearing Review — where he acted as a trusted advisor and proxy for Keone, led key initiatives, and worked to align communication across the executive team and departments.

In his new role, Jewkes oversees Ampetronic | Listen Technologies’ overall sales strategy, sales operations, team leadership, and global go-to-market execution across North America and international markets. He will also strengthen channel and partnership programs and collaborate with the chief marketing officer to align campaigns and brand investment with sales execution, as well as work with product management to ensure customer and market insights inform product strategy.

“I’ve spent years working alongside this sales team in one capacity or another — at trade shows, with customers, behind the scenes on strategy — and I’ve had a front-row seat to what they’re capable of. Getting the chance to lead them means a great deal to me. I’m excited to see, and help drive, the continued growth of Ampetronic | Listen Technologies, this team, and the incredible partners we work with,” says Jewkes, in a release.

Kennedy Brings Military and Cross-Sector Operational Experience

Kennedy joins Ampetronic | Listen Technologies from outside the assistive listening industry. Before taking the VP of operations role, he led strategy and business development initiatives in the real estate and energy sectors. He also served in the Army National Guard as a commissioned officer, holding leadership positions including company commander and battalion executive officer, before retiring after a distinguished military career.

As VP of operations, Kennedy is responsible for the strategy, performance, and scalability of the organization’s operational infrastructure — including supply chain, manufacturing, logistics, quality, facilities, and IT.

“I’m proud to join Ampetronic | Listen Technologies and help strengthen the operational backbone for a company whose mission is making sure people can hear in the moments that count,” says Kennedy, in a release.

Expanding Global Footprint

The leadership additions come as Ampetronic | Listen Technologies continues to expand its presence globally through channel partnerships and the installation of assistive listening solutions in theaters, performing arts centers, houses of worship, transport centers, universities, and other public venues. The company has been active in recent executive appointments, including the promotion of Kim Franklin to CMO and the promotion of Mikey Shaffer to VP of North American sales.
