OtoKiosk Digital Audiometer

OtoKiosk is a patented, CE- and FDA-certified iPad application designed for high-precision audiometric testing in environments with high ambient noise levels, such as shopping centers and pharmacies. The system uses artificial intelligence technologies, including multilingual avatars to guide users and predictive algorithms to optimize the testing process and improve result accuracy.

The solution provides an immediate initial assessment of hearing health. OtoKiosk was also presented to the European Parliament as part of the “Hear the Future” initiative for hearing loss screening and awareness.

Amplifon App

The Amplifon App functions as a digital platform for hearing health, offering hearing aid management tools and support for users throughout their hearing care journey. The app is now available to the general public, not just Amplifon hearing aid users, offering basic audiometric screening via smartphone and access to content on hearing loss prevention. A key feature is a 24-hour virtual assistant powered by artificial intelligence.

The app is currently available in 11 countries: Italy, France, Spain, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Portugal, Australia, New Zealand, and the US.

The UX Design Awards, established by the International Design Center Berlin, recognize products and services that improve people’s lives through user-centered design. The iF Design Award is an international competition honoring creative excellence in design.
