After updating to iOS 15.4, some users of Bluetooth-enabled hearing aids—including many or most of the global brands—may experience problems pairing the devices to their respective apps. The problem appears to originate from Apple.
Signia has announced the debut of what it calls the world’s first setting for a hearing device which specifically improves audibility for those communicating with someone wearing a face covering. Built within the company’s proprietary app, Signia’s Face Mask Mode is reportedly the most complete solution on the market, requiring no in-person adjustments with a hearing care professional.
The new version from Alango Wear & Hear is said to use graphics and a modernized static menu at the bottom of the screen to improve user experience. The functionality of the app remains the same.
