Western’s NCA Honored with Governor General’s Innovation Award

Cochlear Ltd to Purchase Oticon Medical

In a surprise announcement, Demant says it plans to sell its Hearing Implants business, Oticon Medical—which includes the Ponto bone-anchored and Neuro cochlear implant systems—to Cochlear Limited for a total of DKK 850 million (US$120 million). The deal is subject to regulatory approval.

Phonak has added three specialized lifestyle models to its new series of Paradise-powered hearing aids, including Audéo Fit which provides the user with data about various health indicators, including heart rate, steps, and distances walked or run. The company also launched Phonak Slim, as well as the expansion of Phonak Audéo Life to all performance levels in the United States.
