One of the key headlines from the data, according to BIHIMA, is the number of hearing-impaired people using hearing instruments, which has risen to 53%. This is an increase of 12% over the last 10 years, demonstrating how the industry is reaching a greater number of people, however, there is still “much to do if we are to positively impact all those in need.”
WSA announced its 2021/22 Financial Earnings and reported “strong growth in revenue and earnings in Q2 of the financial year 2021/22.”
WSA grew revenue organically by 22% to pass the EUR 2 billion mark (USD $2.3 billion) and simultaneously delivered a historically strong normalized EBITDA of EUR 464 million (USD $524 million) – an increase of 40% compared to the year before, according to the announcement.
