WS Audiology (WSA) announced that Marianne Vinding Ovesen has been appointed as the company’s chief operating officer and member of the executive committee, effective Dec. 2, 2024.
She succeeds Karl Braitberg, who resigned as chief operating officer to return to the United States with his family, according to the company.
“We thank Karl for his contributions to WSA and wish him well in his future endeavors,” says Jan Makela, WSA CEO. “We are pleased to already announce his successor and welcome Marianne to the company and the Executive Committee.”
Ovesen most recently served as COO of Beckman Coulter Diagnostics, a Danaher Corporation company serving the diagnostics and life sciences industries.
Prior to Beckman Coulter Diagnostics, she led the operations division of Radiometer. Ovesen began her career at Coloplast and is a Danish citizen.
