Rexton Reach Hearing Aids Now Available at Costco

Costco is now selling the Rexton Reach R-Li T hearing aid, built on Rexton’s recently introduced Rexton Reach hearing aid platform.
Sonova, the Swiss-based parent group of Phonak, Unitron, and Hansaton, confirmed that it has been awarded the contract to supply Costco’s Kirkland Signature 9.0 (KS9) hearing aids. Although the KS9 will use Sonova's wireless SWORD chip set, the new product is said to be unique in many important ways from the other hearing aids in the Sonova group.
While Costco's Christian Anthis likes the article, he takes exception to the characterization of the devices being offered at Costco as "entry-level hearing aids."
Hearing aid sales in the US increased by 8.8% in the third quarter of 2016 compared to the same period last year, and have increased by 9.6% overall through September.
