Knowles and Lucid Hearing, a hearing aid company, have partnered to bring the hearing health industry the Westone Audio High Fidelity DWT, a hearing aid with a Receiver in Canal (RIC) that delivers “exceptional sound quality for music listening.”
The article by Jensen et al in this edition of “The Hearing Review” about sound quality through the ages got me thinking about how circuit technology has evolved.
The key finding, according to BIHIMA, is that NHS Q3 unit sales were 12.9% up on Q3 2018 (and 14% year-to-date). Private unit sales, whilst not as strong as previous quarters this year, were up 2.5% on the same period last year, and up 5.9% year to date.
According to the BIHIMA, NHS sales were up 34.7% from Q1 2018. This large increase was caused by additional stock orders from the NHS in preparation for a hard Brexit.
