GN Moves to “One Company” Governance Structure; Appoints New Group CEO

GN Hearing, the parent company of ReSound and Beltone, announced in a profit warning that it is experiencing delays in product development deliverables leading to postponement of key product launches planned for H2 2021. The company has decided to initiate a transformation of R&D with the objective to increase quality, predictability of delivery times, and R&D efficiency.
Driven by 20% organic revenue growth in its headset division, GN issued its third quarter corporate report which showed 12% organic revenue growth and an EBITA margin increased to 18.0%. GN’s earnings per share increased by 10% compared to the same period last year.
GN reports that full year organic growth and EBITA guidance are maintained for GN ReSound and GN Netcom, with growth likely ending in the low end of the 3%-5% organic growth range. The investigation regarding the accounting fraud committed by the former VP of Finance at Beltone has now been finalized, and confirms what was communicated in the Interim Report Q2 2015.
