Phonak announced its Infinio Ultra Sphere and Virto R Infinio hearing aids have received the 2026 iF Design Award. The award, presented by iF International Forum Design, recognizes excellence in product design, innovation, functionality, and user experience.

Selected by an independent panel of 129 international design experts, the iF Design Award is a global design distinction. This year’s competition attracted more than 10,000 entries from 68 countries.
Award-Winning Product Details
The Infinio Ultra Sphere is an adaptive AI-powered hearing aid designed for complex sound environments. It utilizes a dedicated real-time AI chip to separate speech from background noise, helping users focus on a speaker from any direction.
The Virto R Infinio is a custom rechargeable hearing aid featuring a precision-crafted shell. Its RightFit technology and Biometric Calibration draw on more than 1,600 data points to map each ear’s anatomy and acoustic profile. Since its launch in 2025, the Virto R Infinio has also received the 2025 Hearing Health & Technology Matters (HHTM) Hearing Technology Innovator Award and the 2026 Business Intelligence Group (BIG) Innovation Award.
According to Phonak, both products were recognized for integrating technology with usability and industrial design, reflecting the company’s commitment to advancing hearing care.
