Consult YHN, a network of hearing healthcare professionals, and Redux, a developer of professional drying and cleaning systems for personal electronics, have announced a strategic partnership. The partnership helps “strengthen Consult’s position as an industry leader in helping practice owners drive growth and help more patients.”
With the push of a button, the Redux system “safely and completely removes moisture from hearing aids, implants, and hearables in just minutes while providing verification of water removed,” according to the companies’ announcement. Redux’s technology is said to “create a vacuum to lower the evaporation point of water and then safely applies heat to remove moisture from both traditionally powered and rechargeable devices.”
The in-office system is “designed to be a revenue-generating opportunity for practices by improving hearing device function, saving valuable office staff time, reducing instrument returns, and improving the overall patient experience.”
“All The Right Things is our approach to helping members increase opportunities and grow their businesses while providing the highest level of patient care. This is why we partnered with Redux,” said Bill Urwin, Consult’s President. “Hearing aids have evolved tremendously over the years, and Redux ensures the care for these advanced products does, too. We look forward to bringing the Redux solution to our members.”
“We all know hearing aids get wet. It’s likely the most common reason for malfunction and frustration with hearing aids,” said Reuben Zielinski, Redux’s President and Co-founder. “Consult is an industry leader for a reason—they’re always looking for ways to bring value to their members by providing premium products and services. We’re proud to be a part of that by ensuring patients’ hearing aids stay dry and maintain peak performance.”
