Innovator of the Year

This year’s Innovator of the Year title has been awarded to Nuance Audio for its Nuance Audio Glasses, recognizing the product’s innovative design and ability to expand access to hearing solutions.

The company earned the highest overall scores from an international panel of independent judges, who evaluated submissions based on the following criteria:

•               Innovation – Technology that represents novel thinking in addressing habilitation of acquired hearing loss, its treatment, and delivery.

•               Effectiveness – Technological advances that best address limitations of previous generations of technology.

•               Efficiency – Advances that best close the distance between hearing care and the end-user.

•               Utility – Innovation that promotes greater ease of use by the end-user and/or practitioner.

“To encourage people to address their hearing loss sooner, they need to be met where they are. A device that accentuates their individual style in a non-traditional design can be an attractive option for those who have thus far been hesitant to begin their hearing journey. Congratulations to Nuance Audio in recognition of their unique approach to delivering hearing care to a broader population,” says Andrew Bellavia, founder of AuraFuturity and member of the 2025 Awards Judge’s Panel.
