After nearly 13 years growing ACI Alliance in scope and influence, founding Executive Director Donna Sorkin will be stepping down in 2026 and helping the next executive director transition into the role.

According to ACI Alliance, its next executive director should be a motivated, experienced individual who will work under the direction of the board of directors, advancing the organizational mission by overseeing all aspects of the organization. Functions include day-to-day administrative oversight, strategic leadership and collaboration/partnership, financial management, fundraising, support and supervision of staff and outsourced contractor services, coordination of the annual CI conference, membership, advocacy, outreach, and driving operational goals and functions for all levels of the organization.

A comprehensive knowledge of hearing loss is hugely beneficial, and dedicated experience with cochlear implantation with a passion for the mission of expanding access is highly preferable.
