The MedTech veteran will lead the company’s independent, government, and pediatric channels, among other key teams.

Oticon Inc has named Michael Lamberson as president, US Wholesale, effective March 2, 2026. Lamberson takes over from Ty Lee, who served as interim president and will continue in his role as group president, Demant North America.

In his new position, Lamberson will be responsible for the company’s Independent Channel, Government Services & Pediatrics, Marketing, Audiology, and Customer Experience teams. His focus will be on advancing the company’s commercial operations and leadership in the US market.

“Mike is a proven and purpose-driven leader with an impressive track record of driving growth and innovation across the MedTech and consumer health sectors,” says Ty Lee, president of Demant North America, in a release. “His deep industry expertise, strategic mindset, and unwavering focus on the customer experience uniquely position him to understand the evolving needs, challenges, and aspirations of those we serve. We are confident that Mike is the right leader to guide Oticon US into its next chapter.”

Lamberson joins Oticon with more than 30 years of experience in commercial and general management. He previously led commercial operations for billion-dollar businesses at Johnson & Johnson, where his work at Acclarent involved collaboration with ENT surgeons and specialists. He has also held roles as chief commercial officer and senior commercial leader for several health technology companies, working with clinicians across professional, government, and managed care channels.

Most recently, Lamberson was the founder and CEO of LaunchSmith, where he advised health technology companies on market strategy and commercialization. He holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Clemson University and an MBA from Southern Methodist University’s Cox School of Business.
