For the second straight year, Phonak announced its sponsorship of the Child’s Voice Golf Tournament on June 11 at the Arrowhead Golf Club in Wheaton, Ill. Now in its 14th year, the annual golf outing held by Child’s Voice hosted over 200 golfers, sponsors, supporters, and volunteers. To date, the organization is said to have generated over $1 million to help children with hearing loss learn listening and speaking skills that are critical to lifelong success.

“We thank Phonak for their generous donation and ongoing support of children with hearing loss,” said Mike and Katie Schroeder of Child’s Voice. “As chairs of this wonderful event, and parents to two current Child’s Voice students, we were excited to host an event that raised funds to allow Child’s Voice to positively impact their lives.”

The golf tournament is a scramble format and featured various on-course contests, including challenging Child’s Voice alumni to a driving challenge. Following the tournament was a helicopter ball drop, cocktail reception, dinner, raffle, live auction, and alumni speakers.
