The 3rd International Hearing Loop Conference, called “Hearing Loops for All,” is now set for the autumn of 2013 in the English coastal town of Eastbourne, UK.
Hosted by Hearing Link, a UK hearing advocacy organization, the 2013 Conference will be held in the Winter Garden, a unique Victorian venue built in 1875 and originally used as a skating rink in the winter and a concert hall during the summer. The program of events will feature workshops, presentations, exhibition stands, and networking opportunities.
Eastbourne is easy to access by air, rail, and road, and is around 80 km from London. The conference will begin with an evening reception on Saturday, October 5, with the main events taking place on Sunday and Monday. The conference is held every 2 years, and previously took place in Zurich in Switzerland and Washington DC in the USA.
The 2013 Hearing Loops for All event will provide an opportunity for people with hearing loss to learn about the benefits offered by hearing loops and related technology, and to find out how they can encourage this technology to become more widely available where they live. It will also provide a chance for suppliers, service providers, and relevant professionals from all over the world to share views, knowledge, and information about current and emerging hearing loop technology.
The conference’s main goal is to identify opportunities and options for encouraging hearing loop technology to become more widely available and accessible to those with hearing loss.
Sponsorship and exhibitor opportunities are now available to organizations, businesses, and professionals wishing to feature or promote their services and products at the 2013 event.
