The acquisition expands the telehealth provider’s in-person tinnitus and audiology services to the San Francisco Bay Area.

Treble Health, a telehealth-focused tinnitus and audiology practice, has acquired Silicon Valley Hearing, a medical model audiology practice located in Los Gatos, Calif. The acquisition adds Silicon Valley Hearing’s clinical team to the Treble Health network and establishes an in-person care location for the company in the Bay Area.

Founded by Ben Thompson, AuD, Treble Health has provided care to more than 3,000 patients and conducted over 10,000 consultations, primarily through telehealth. The company’s care model combines tinnitus retraining therapy (TRT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) techniques, and hearing loss treatment. The addition of the Los Gatos clinic marks Treble Health’s third brick-and-mortar acquisition and its initial clinic in California.

Silicon Valley Hearing was founded by Marni Novick, AuD, who has built the practice over the last decade. She is joined by Patty Anderson, AuD. Both clinicians hold certifications in tinnitus management and clinical preceptorship.

“Silicon Valley Hearing has built something truly exceptional,” says Ben Thompson, founder and chief executive officer of Treble Health, in a release. “Novick and Anderson are exactly the kind of clinicians we want representing Treble Health. They’re deeply skilled, deeply caring, and deeply committed to improving the lives of people with tinnitus and hearing loss. We are building an all-star team of audiologists and in-person clinics across the country, and Silicon Valley Hearing is exactly the kind of practice we love to work with.”

“Joining Treble Health means our patients have access to an even broader set of resources and expertise,” says Novick, in a release. “I’m excited about what we’ll be able to offer the Bay Area together.”

In addition to its new California location, Treble Health operates in-person clinics in Charlotte, NC, and Philadelphia, Pa.
