Oticon participated in a home dedication for an Army Veteran and contributed $5,000 to the nonprofit organization.
Oticon Government Services joined Homes For Our Troops (HFOT) at a home dedication ceremony for Army MAJ Dolly Harris in Howell Township, NJ, on December 13, 2025. The company, which has sponsored HFOT since 2017, also contributed $5,000 to sponsor a future home for a severely injured post-9/11 Veteran.
At the ceremony, Oticon’s Government Services team’s Sarah Draplin, senior manager of government services education and training, and Kristin Billich, marketing manager, represented Oticon. They presented Harris with a gift card to help furnish her new, specially adapted custom home.
“We are honored to support Homes For Our Troops in building and donating specially adapted custom homes for Veterans like Army MAJ Dolly Harris,” says Draplin in a release. “Through the Department of Veterans Affairs, the Department of Defense, and other federal agencies, Oticon is proud to provide life-changing hearing technology that enhances hearing and quality of life for Veterans and active-duty military personnel. Events like today’s celebration allow our team to express heartfelt gratitude and support for the brave men and women who have served.”
Oticon is an official supplier of hearing solutions to the Veterans Health Administration. The company’s Government Services division provides continuing education and training for VA audiologists and technicians throughout the year.
