The new capabilities are designed to automate clinical documentation and fit naturally into existing audiology workflows.
Sycle, a practice management solution provider for the hearing care industry, has announced the launch of a suite of artificial intelligence (AI) tools designed to help audiologists and hearing clinic teams reduce time spent on administrative tasks. The new capabilities, which are being released in phases, include tools for summarizing and dictating clinical notes, with the goal of allowing providers more time for patient care.
The company’s strategy focuses on integrating AI to support everyday tasks without disrupting established clinical processes.
“Sycle is being intentional about how AI is introduced,” says Sycle CTO Jeremy Knudsen in a release. “Our goal is to build AI with a purpose. Our strategy focuses on tools that fit naturally into existing workflows, keeping the provider’s expertise at the center while using AI to highlight what needs attention and speed up routine tasks.”
New AI Capabilities and Future Roadmap
The AI tools are fully integrated into the Sycle platform. The initial phase of the rollout includes:
- Clinical notes summary: This feature allows providers to enter free-form text and generate a clean, accurate summary.
- Notes dictation: Providers can dictate notes, and the tool will summarize them into a structured, editable entry.
Sycle also outlined its product roadmap for future releases, which includes:
- Coming in Q2 2026: A tool to record appointment audio and automatically transcribe it into clinical notes.
- Future releases: Capabilities focused on helping practices go paperless, automating administrative processes, and providing data insights for business management.
Sycle states that all AI features are housed within its secure environment to ensure patient data remains encrypted and compliant with industry regulations.
