The new premium family includes three zinc-air battery styles and features Oticon’s BrainHearing technology platform.
Oticon Inc has announced the launch of Oticon Verit, a new family of premium hearing aids powered by zinc-air disposable batteries. The product line is designed for users who prefer the convenience of disposable batteries over rechargeable options and features Oticon’s BrainHearing technologies, including MoreSound Intelligence 3.0, MoreSound Amplifier 3.0, and MoreSound Optimizer.
Technology and Performance
The Oticon Verit family operates on the Sirius platform and incorporates a second-generation AI sound processing technology that adapts automatically to changing listening environments. The devices also include SuddenSound Stabilizer and Wind & Handling Stabilizer to manage bothersome sounds.
According to company-provided data, Oticon Verit suppresses unwanted sounds by up to 12 dB in complex listening environments. This represents a 2 dB improvement over Oticon Real and a 3 dB improvement over Oticon Opn S. The data also indicates that the new devices deliver higher speech clarity in noise compared to the company’s previous premium hearing aids with zinc-air batteries.
Available Styles and Connectivity
The Verit family is available in three zinc-air styles to accommodate a range of hearing needs: miniRITE T, miniBTE T 85, and BTE T 105. The hearing aids are designed for seamless integration with both iOS and Android devices to support modern connectivity expectations.
