EuroTrak I: A Consumer Survey About Hearing Aids in Germany, France, and the UK

EuroTrak I—the industry’s first independent report on hearing loss and hearing aid use in Europe—draws many parallels to MarkeTrak data for the North American market. However, important differences also emerge in the European countries, including higher levels of hearing aid adoption, fewer “in the drawer” hearing aids, and lower binaural usage. Europeans’ overall satisfaction with hearing aids is relatively high (72% to 86%, depending on country) and comparable to US figures (74%), and satisfaction with newer generation devices is even higher (77% to 91%). As with data from North America, EuroTrak demonstrates hearing aids have a positive impact on the quality of lives of people who have a hearing loss.
