Audioscan announced a new software updates for its Verifit2 and Axiom hearing instrument verification systems. Benefits include new tools for improving the efficiency and accuracy of Speechmap verification, counseling enhancements, and new BAHD devices for DSL-BCD target verification using the Verifit Skull Simulator, among other additions, according to the company.

Audioscan Verifit2 and Axiom owners can download a complimentary copy of the 2022.1 software by logging into: customer.audioscan.com.

2022.1 Software Update highlights include:            

Speechmap Delta Target & Delta Comparison (Verifit2) – Precisely and efficiently match prescriptive targets or comparison tests using the new delta target and delta comparison graph scale views in Speechmap.  

Ambient Level Check for On-Ear Tests (Verifit2 and Axiom) – Measure the noise level in the room before any on-ear test to assess the potential impact of room noise on your test results. Ambient level check is now available via a new icon in each on-ear test screen.

Custom Stimuli in the Sensory Loss Simulator (Verifit2) – Counsel your client’s family members using your own custom stimuli such as a challenging hearing environment or a spouse’s voice.

Speechmap Table-View Enhancements (Verifit2) – Access and view all relevant clinical data in an optimized and scrollable Speechmap dual and single table view.

Remote Control via Home Page (Verifit2) – Use your mobile device to operate the Verifit2 and leverage new verification workflows where you can distance yourself from the equipment or the client as desired.

VSS support for Ponto 5 & BAHA 6 devices (Verifit2) – Verify Ponto 5 Mini, Ponto 5 SuperPower, and the BAHA 6 Max using the Verifit Skull Simulator and the DSL-BCD prescriptive target rationale in bone-anchored hearing device (BAHD) mode in Speechmap.
