Multi-hyphenate Chella Man, a model/actor/activist, was recently profiled in Vogue Magazine for his ear jewelry collection, designed to “celebrate the deaf and hard-of-hearing communities.”

Man, who was fitted for hearing aids at age 4 and a cochlear implant at 12, was frustrated by the lack of control he had over the design of the hearing devices he wore. He recently collaborated with designers Siying Qu and Haoran Li from Private Policy to develop a line of ear jewelry ranging in price from $330-$620, that are designed to accentuate hearing devices.
In a video (above) designed to go along with the jewelry campaign, Man and deaf artists Rayly Aquino, and Raven Sutton, appear underwater wearing the ear cuffs.
