Oxfordshire, UK — P2i, a nano-coating supplier to the hearing industry, has reported significantly increased revenue in its fiscal year ending July 31, 2010.

The company reports that its revenue increased 207% to £3.2m and that it now serves three of the world’s five largest hearing aid manufacturers with its Aridion liquid repellent nano-coating.

The company also manufactures nano-coating products for footwear brands, filtration and energy; life sciences; and military and institutional sales.

In its press announcement, P2i commented on current nano-coating trends and stated, “As consumer electronic devices become smaller and lighter there is less space for traditional engineered solutions that deter liquids. As a result, mobile phones and other gadgets are a significant new market for nano-coating technologies and P2i is already in trials with a number of leading manufacturers to demonstrate both liquid repellency and stain, smudge and scratch resistance.”
