Auditdata has announced that growing interest in the company’s audiometers has been addressed by strengthening the team based in King of Prussia, Pa, with Joy Glen named as the new vice president of US sales.

Auditdata’s increasing activities in the US have been fueled by its acquisition of Otovation, and its relatively new partnership with Sycle.net. Increased activities have demanded a strengthening of the US team, so a search for an international and experienced candidate to lead the US sales team was initiated.

Joy Glen was identified as the top candidate for the role, and joined Auditdata in March 2016. Glen has most recently been a managing director for Starkey’s American Hearing, where she managed more than 75 hearing practices. She brings to Auditdata a lifelong commitment to hearing healthcare, and has worked with thousands of hearing-impaired patients during her 20 years as an audiologist. Glen strives to deliver an enhanced patient experience, and her passion is improving the quality of life for people with hearing loss, because she believes that “life is worth hearing.”

Glen earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees at the University of Cincinnati. After practicing clinical audiology in Cincinnati for several years, she began a long career as a training audiologist and business professional for the industry’s largest hearing aid manufacturers. She spent 10 years at GN Resound, where she served as their national director of training and education, and also helped bring new products into hearing care professionals’ offices.

Internationally recognized as a presenter on current industry technology and the practice of fitting hearing instruments, Glen also spent 6 years at Starkey Hearing Technologies, managing sales excellence and driving customer care. She later became a managing director for Starkey’s Retail network of hearing practices, American Hearing. There she managed more than 75 hearing practices, ensuring that all offices were profitable, and delivering premium patient hearing care. Her primary role at All American Hearing was building teams and managing top talent, with a mission to raise the bar on the patient experience.

“I joined Auditdata, because my dedication is to deliver innovative clinic management systems and hearing measurement equipment that will continue evolving to meet the needs of the hearing care professional,” said Glen. “My goal is to make the complicated easy for all hearing care professionals.”
