The 2014 Combined Otolaryngology Spring Meetings (COSM)—a joint meeting of seven otolaryngological societies—will be held May 14-18, 2014, in Las Vegas, Nev. The meeting will feature dozens of scientific presentations highlighting research in progress in otolaryngology. Each participating society presents its own highly educational scientific program to the more than 1,200 otolaryngologists and otolaryngology residents who typically attend the meeting.
Caesars Palace will serve as the headquarters hotel and will house the scientific sessions, as well as all scientific and technical exhibits. There will also be a program for spouses and guests of meeting attendees.
The COSM program includes guest lectures by prominent leaders in surgery, numerous courses and scientific sessions, dozens of papers reflecting research related to current issues in the diagnosis, evaluation, and treatment of otolaryngology-related conditions, and two scientific poster receptions, featuring more than 500 posters. A variety of companies will display products and services that provide solutions for managing diseases and disorders of the ear, nose, throat, and related structures of the head and neck.
The Combined Otolaryngology Spring Meetings is a scientific and educational symposium that was created in 1970 to help surgeons stay abreast of the latest trends and best practice methods in otolaryngology. The societies participating in the 2014 combined meeting are the American Broncho-Esophagological Association, American Laryngological Association, American Neurotology Society, American Otological Society, American Rhinologic Society, American Society of Pediatric Otolaryngology, and the Triological Society.
