The 8th International Conference on Hyperacusis and Misophonia (ICHM) will be held as part of the EUHA Congress in October 2026, with a call for abstracts now open.
The 8th International Conference on Hyperacusis and Misophonia (ICHM8) will take place as part of the 70th EUHA Congress in Hanover, Germany, from October 14-16, 2026. The integration aims to build a bridge between audiological, psychological, and neuroscientific research on sound sensitivity.
Organizers have issued a call for abstracts for both oral and poster presentations. ICHM8 invites contributions from researchers, clinicians, practitioners, and students across disciplines including audiology, psychology, psychiatry, neuroscience, ENT, education, and public health.
The conference unites global experts across ENT, audiology, mental health, neuroscience, and patient advocacy to explore developments in research and clinical innovation for sound intolerance. The interdisciplinary program is designed to provide opportunities for attendees to connect and learn about the future of care for those living with hyperacusis and misophonia.
The registration fee for the joint EUHA/ICHM8 event is expected to be between EUR 500 and EUR 600 for a three-day pass, which includes full access to the EUHA lecture area and industry exhibition.
Further information on abstract submission is available at the ICHM8 website. For informal inquiries about topic suitability, prospective authors can contact Dr Hashir Aazh at [email protected].
