The new EUHA-Live Area links the Congress even more closely with the Industry Exhibition. A central meeting and networking area with a stage will be created in exhibition hall 6. In the “Partner Innovation Hub,” you can get information about the partner country Denmark. At the “Meeting Point for Apprentices/Students,” the focus is on young talent in hearing care. The third corner will be full of offers for hearing aid acousticians, and the fourth about “Start-ups.”

Important Events 

The Congress opening will be held Wednesday, October 16, 2024 at 9:15 a.m., in the EUHA-Live Area in Hall 6. During the ceremony, Beate Gromke, president of the EUHA, will open the event together with Gregor Dittrich, representing the BVHI board. The opening will be followed by a message of greeting from Dr Andreas Philippi, Lower Saxony’s State Minister of Social Affairs, Labour, Health, and Equality, and a greeting from Peder Søgaard-Pedersen, director for DI Life Science, representing the partner country Denmark. 

The Congress Get-together, the central party of the event, will kick off at Peppermint Pavilion on Thursday, October 17 at 7:00 p.m., in the eastern part of the exhibition grounds. The theme of the evening will be the Danish fairytale world, and attendees are encouraged to dress up in costume as a little mermaid or in the emperor’s new clothes, for example, to fit the theme.
