Otoharmonics, Portland, Ore, has announced that Damon Boyce, AuD, has joined their team as Senior Audiologist, Clinical Education. With this hire, Otoharmonics reports that it is reaffirming its dedication to providing high-quality service and training to the hearing professional community.

“This newly created position will lead our training and education initiatives for the Levo tinnitus sound therapy,” said Michael Baker, president and CEO of Otoharmonics. “Dr Boyce brings a wealth of audiology knowledge and specialized skills to Otoharmonics that make him a perfect fit for us.”

Prior to joining Otoharmonics, Boyce served as chief audiologist and sales manager for Westone Laboratories. He received his doctorate in audiology from Idaho State University and is a certified Professional Supervisor and Occupational Hearing Conservationist through the Council for Accreditation in Occupational Hearing Conservation (CAOHC). Boyce also has travelled internationally training US military personnel on topics including ear anatomy, proper techniques for taking ear impressions and the dangers of noise exposure.

“After many years of professional experience as an audiologist, I’m excited to start this new challenge working directly with hearing professionals and their tinnitus patients,” said Boyce in the Otoharmonics announcement. “Working with military personnel has given me special insight into the challenges faced by people living with tinnitus.”
