The HearStrong Foundation recently recognized the accomplishments of the Mike Glenn All-Star Basketball Camp for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing. The foundation honored camp founder Mike Glenn as a HearStrong Ambassador for his longtime work to empower children with hearing difficulties. The ceremony was held at Southwest DeKalb High School in Decatur, Ga, where the foundation also presented one camper with a brand-new pair of EarQ hearing devices.

Glenn started the camp 35 years ago with the goal of helping young boys and girls with all levels of hearing difficulties improve their basketball and life skills. Today, the camp is attended by hundreds of young athletes from approximately 12 states.

The HearStrong Foundation based in Syracuse, NY, is a not-for-profit organization that recognizes the accomplishments of those who overcome hearing loss.
