Beltone is calling for nominations for its annual peer-nominated Larry Mauldin Awards. The winner will be announced at a gala awards ceremony at the annual AAA conference in April 2013.

This year’s event will be the 14th Larry Mauldin Award ceremony. Presented since 1999, the award celebrates individuals who have demonstrated unsurpassed dedication to excellence in education and professionalism in the hearing care industry and unselfishly given back to the profession, the community, and those with hearing loss.

The prestigious award was created to honor the accomplishments of the late Larry Mauldin for his work and commitment to education in the field of audiology. Mauldin’s passion was to advance the knowledge of audiology and hearing aid fittings to as broad an audience as possible.

To nominate a hearing health colleague, nominators must prepare the following:

  • Written statement about the nominee
  • Reason audiologist should receive award
  • Number of years of professional experience
  • Contact information for yourself and the nominee
