Medical device and consumer electronics manufacturer Nuheara Limited (ASX:NUH) (Company or Nuheara) announced an expansion of its US retail footprint, from circa 300 points of sale currently to circa 4,600 over the coming months, with US FDA cleared self-fit hearing aids now being manufactured to fulfill initial orders from Best Buy and other US retail customers.
Australian hearing health company, Nuheara (ASX:NUH) and Oto, the UK-based digital health company for tinnitus support, have announced “the world’s first collaboration to provide digital-led, tech-enabled support for people affected by tinnitus.”
According to Nuheara, what makes IQbuds² MAX unique is the EarID clinically certified personalization system embedded in the IQbuds App. EarID helps allow consumers “to self-assess, self-fit, and auto calibrate their IQbuds² MAX to their own personal hearing profile using National Acoustic Labs NAL-NL2 hearing aid prescription algorithms.”
Nuheara IQbuds™ BOOST, a personal sound amplification product (PSAP) device, will be carried by ADCO Medical Suppliers, a General Services Administration (GSA) contract holder authorized to supply audiological equipment to the US federal government, including the VA.
