The New Jersey Association of Hearing Health Professionals (NJAHHP) has announced the line-up of presenters for its 2015 Conference titled “New Frontiers in Hearing Healthcare.” This will be the NJAHHP’s 36th Northeast Conference of Hearing Health Professions and Continuing Education Program, which will be held April 23-24, 2015 at the Stockton Seaview Hotel & Golf Club in Galloway, New Jersey.

Some of the session topics to be presented at the NJAHHP 2015 Conference include “A Hearing Aid Solution for Music,” “SmartPhone Based Apps as a Substitute to Traditional Hearing Aids?” and “Changes in Primary Care, Opportunities for Hearing HealthCare.” The line-up of speakers includes Marshall Chasin, AuD, author of Back to Basics in The Hearing Review, and director of auditory research at Musicians’ Clinics of Canada; Brian Taylor, AuD, director of practice development and clinical affairs for Unitron; and Dennis Van Vliet, AuD, author of The Final Word in The Hearing Review, and senior director of professional relations at Starkey Hearing Technologies. Dr Van Vliet will be giving the Leitman Memorial Lecture titled “Otoplastics: 2015 Update.”

Many industry experts will be exhibiting new technology and products in the exhibit hall during the conference, and there will be an “Apps for Hearing Aids Grand Rounds” course, which is designed to provide a forum for up to 6 manufactures to present on what type of phone apps are available for their hearing instrument platform for expanding and enhancing prospective patients’ hearing experience and added value.
