The Tinnitus Practitioners Association (TPA) has announced that it will be hosting the First Annual International Misophonia Conference, which will be held in Mesa, Ariz, February 22-24, 2013.

Misophonia is a form of decreased sound tolerance, and is believed to be a neurological disorder characterized by negative experiences resulting only from specific sounds, whether loud or soft.

Concurrent events for professionals and the public will provide advanced education for audiologists and professionals who have an interest in working with patients who suffer from misophonia and wish to include misophonia rehabilitative services in their practices.

Visit the event website to register and for more information, or email [email protected].
