The partnership will integrate NationsHearing clinical services and technology into the retail club’s locations across the US.
NationsBenefits has been selected by Sam’s Club to manage all Sam’s Club hearing centers throughout the US. The collaboration will integrate clinical expertise and technology from NationsHearing directly into the retail club environment to provide hearing care services.
The partnership aims to expand access to care by offering a selection of premium brand-name prescription and Over-the-Counter (OTC) hearing aids. According to the announcement, the initiative addresses the growing need for hearing healthcare, citing the 2024 Lancet Commission which identified untreated hearing loss as a significant modifiable risk factor for dementia.
“Hearing health is not an isolated issue, but a gateway to overall vitality,” says Glenn Parker, MD, founder and CEO of NationsBenefits, in a release. “By bringing modern and professional-grade care into the familiar environment of Sam’s Club, we are making it easier for individuals to take proactive steps toward better hearing, which we know is essential for cognitive health and emotional well-being.”
The service model combines in-person and digital support. Patients can visit on-site hearing centers for consultations and diagnostic screenings. Following the initial fitting, members can access professional care through tele-audiology tools, which allow for remote adjustments and expert guidance via their smartphones. This hybrid approach combines in-club service with digital support for ongoing care.
