Unitron US announced a series of new team leader roles designed to reinforce the company’s position as what is said to be the “industry’s customer support leader.” The new roles, effective immediately, come in the form of changes to current internal leadership positions. The changes are expected to enhance Unitron’s responsiveness to hearing healthcare professionals while strengthening the company’s commitment to their success. 

“The Unitron brand has earned a well-established reputation for continuously delivering the industry’s best customer support,” said Mike Dittmann, president of Unitron US. “At the same time, we operate in a rapidly changing and highly competitive industry, so we must constantly make adjustments to keep us at the forefront. These role changes will help ensure Unitron keeps delivering on all these fronts for years to come.” 

The following is a summary of the key role changes at Unitron: 

Bob Eastman, vice president, business development for Sonova USA, Inc.

  • Bob Eastman, previously Vice President of Sales for Unitron, is now Vice President, Business Development for Sonova USA, Inc, Unitron’s parent company. Moving forward, Eastman will draw upon his extensive industry experience to benefit all Sonova companies, including Unitron. 
Kate Handley, vice president of sales, Unitron.

  • Kate Handley, formerly Unitron’s Vice President of Strategic Accounts and Customer Experience, has been named Vice President of Sales. Possessing more than 19 years with the company in various sales, marketing, and customer support positions, Handley will now lead Unitron’s Outside Sales’ team. 
Lynn Peters, senior director, customer experience and inside sales, Unitron.

  • Lynn Peters, previously Director of Human Resources at Unitron, is now Senior Director, Customer Experience and Inside Sales. Peters’ responsibilities will include working with Handley and her team to build even stronger relationships with Unitron customers. 
Aaron Jones, senior director of product management and practice development, Unitron.

  • Aaron Jones, the former Director of In-clinic Success, has taken on an expanded role as Senior Director of Product Management and Practice Development. Jones will continue to lead Unitron’s FLEX™ ecosystem strategy, while taking responsibility for new product introductions in the US.
