Sue Scott
The hearing industry lost a wonderful person and astute marketing manager on October 28 as Susan Scott passed away at age 59 in Edina, Minn, after a valiant battle against cancer. Scott worked at several companies during her long career in hearing healthcare. She was most recently employed as the marketing manager of the Elite Hearing Network in Plymouth, Minn, but she also worked in similar capacities for Maico Hearing Instruments and GN ReSound dating back to the early 1990s.
Well respected for her savvy knowledge of the hearing healthcare market, Sue had a terrific sense of humor and a wide network of industry friends. She is survived by her husband of 32 years, John Doering; daughter Anne (Eric) Welch; grandson Bennett, and many close relatives and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to be sent to the Colon Cancer Alliance or Cancer Research Institute.
Such a sad loss. Sue was a marketing and personal inspiration. My heart goes out to her family and friends.
