National Award Celebrates the Most Influential Women in Marketing
Oticon Inc, Somerset, NJ, announced that Sheena Oliver, Oticon vice president of marketing, has been honored as one of the outstanding chief marketing officers selected for the 2014 Marketing Hall of Femme. The Direct Marketing News Marketing Hall of Femme celebrates the most accomplished women in marketing today— champions of integrated, direct marketing strategies that have improved marketing performance and delivered measurable results, from revenue growth to increased customer engagement.
“We congratulate Sheena Oliver on her accomplishment and for bringing national recognition to Oticon and our innovative marketing programs,” said Oticon President Peer Lauritsen. “Through customized marketing programs tailored to unique practice needs, Sheena and her team have taken bold steps to increase the marketing effectiveness and practice-building potential of our hearing care partners.”
Direct Marketing News calls the 2014 Marketing Hall of Femme inductees more than outstanding marketers. “This group of exceptional female marketing chiefs stands out not only for the success of their marketing strategies, but for their outstanding leadership,” said Editor-in-Chief Ginger Conlon. “Their leadership inspires colleagues to achieve greatness. And their stories are ones of dynamism, decisiveness, and determination.”
Oliver joins this year’s honorees representing such marketing powerhouses as Turner Broadcasting, American Red Cross, US Postal Service, Zillow, National Hockey League, and Home Depot. Past inductees have included chief marketing executives from Disney’s Dreamworks, IKEA, Macy’s, Saks Fifth Avenue, and eBay.
Oliver will be officially inducted into the Marketing Hall of Femme at a special celebration to be held in New York City in March.
