Oticon Medical, Somerset, NJ, has announced the expansion of its US leadership team with the appointment of Jared Schnackenberg as president of Oticon Medical US. According to the announcement, Schnackenberg will provide overall leadership for the entire US organization to further develop Oticon Medical’s position in the bone anchored hearing solutions (BAHS) market and to prepare for the anticipated launch of Oticon Medical Cochlear Implants for the US market.
Oticon reports that Schnackenberg brings a wealth of experience from the cochlear implant field to his new role. Before Oticon Medical, he was vice president of North American sales and service at Advanced Bionics with full responsibility for the support to cochlear implant clinics, ENT physicians, and recipients. He has a solid track record of building and leading high-performance teams in sales, service, and clinical operations.

Schnackenberg earned a master’s degree in audiology from the University of Northern Colorado, and holds board certification in audiology with a specialty in cochlear implants from the American Academy of Audiology.
He will head a US leadership team that includes Curt Gorman, senior vice president, BAHS Division; and Alan Raffauf, vice president, marketing.
