Oticon has announced that account manager Jennifer Stroup Bobo, AuD, CCC-A, has been honored as one of the Outstanding Women of Today…Builders of Tomorrow by the Altrusa International of Richardson Foundation Inc.

According to Oticon, Bobo was recognized at an awards luncheon in Richardson, Tex, held October 30, 2015, for leadership that exemplifies determination and innovation, and for her outstanding contribution in her field.  The annual awards program was created by Altrusa International to celebrate women who demonstrate altruism in their work along with exceptional dedication, leadership, and vision.

“This is the 12th year that Altrusa International of Richardson Foundation Inc has celebrated outstanding women from our community,” said Cindy McIntyre, the organization’s president. “The contributions of women like Jennifer make a difference for the future of women in leadership. We are pleased to have this opportunity to applaud Jennifer’s contributions in her area of expertise, and to celebrate her giving spirit.”

Bobo serves the business and audiological needs of hearing care professionals in North Texas and North Louisiana. She was nominated for the Outstanding Women of Today award by Laura Trainor-Collins, MS, CCC-A, of Advanced Audiology Center in Garland, Texas.

“For the past 10 years, Jennifer has been a valued member of the account management team and a true partner to the hearing care professionals she serves,” said Tom Lawrence, national sales director for Oticon Inc. “Her impressive combination of expertise in clinical audiology, retail sales and business development, and her readiness to always go above and beyond has helped many Oticon partners to build strong and successful practices.
