Start-up hearing health distributor Audiology Systems Inc (ASI) continues to expand its workforce. The company announced that Sarah Super Ascher has joined as a sales representative in the Southwest.
Ascher will cover Arizona and New Mexico and will be responsible for sales and service of Audiology Systems’ product lines, which include GN Otometrics (Madsen, Aurical, ICS), Intelligent Hearing Systems, and Noise Barriers. Ascher will report to Michel Jurgens, general manager at Audiology Systems.
Ascher joined ASI from Carondelet Health Network, a southern Arizona health care network. Her most recent responsibilities there included supervision and clinical coordination and daily operations for three outpatient hospital programs: audiology, balance/vestibular services, and neurorehabilitation.
Ascher earned a Bachelor of Science degree in speech and hearing sciences and a Master of Science degree in audiology from the University of Arizona, in 1983 and 1985, respectively.
Active in the professional community, Ascher has served on a variety of committees with organizations, such as the American Academy of Audiology and the Arizona Department of Health “Never Too Young” Advisory Board for Early Identification of Hearing Loss. Ascher has also received multiple honors including the 2009 University of Arizona Department of Speech-Language and Hearing Distinguished Alumnus Award, among others.
