Unitron, a member of the Sonova Group that is based in Kitchener, Canada, is participating in the 60th International Congress of Hearing Aid Acousticians from the European Union of Hearing Aid Acousticians (EUHA) in Germany to launch the company’s new Stride family of BTE and ITE hearing aids, as well as new solutions aimed at enriching the patient experience.
This week Unitron is also launching its new products at the company’s International Partner Forum in Prague, Czech Republic. The company reports that it is aiming to drive greater adoption of hearing aids through a focus on patient-centric design features and support for healthcare professionals, including Flex and new patient-facing screens within Log It All.
Attendees at the EUHA event in Germany can visit Unitron’s booth (#B09 in Hall 4A) to see Stride and North product and platform demonstrations. The full line of Stride hearing instruments, built on the North platform, will be exhibited at Unitron’s booth. The company reports that Stride offers comfort, aesthetics, and intuitive controls that let patients focus on conversations in all listening environments.
Also on exhibit at the Unitron booth are Flex and Log It All–solutions intended to improve in-clinic success. Log It All, a data logging solution, enhances Flex by allowing hearing healthcare professionals to gather information from a patient’s experiences wearing hearing instruments to create evidence-based conversations about their lifestyle and technology level choices. Log It All incorporates new patient-facing screens allowing clinicians to demonstrate for an individual their real-life listening behaviors and pattern.
Unitron will provide EUHA visitors with an opportunity be fitted with a pair of Moxi or Stride hearing instruments, allowing them to directly experience North’s seven-destination automatic program while attending the conference and touring the exhibit hall. At the end of the trial, visitors can return to the Unitron booth to see their listening experience portrayed in Log It All.
At EUHA, Unitron will feature presentations on Flex, Log It All, and patient-centric design every half hour in its booth theatre.
Unitron is also bringing the company’s new platform, product families, and solutions to its international partner community through its International Partners Forum, which this week has drawn more than 90 hearing healthcare partners from more than 35 countries. The two-day event, held in Prague, Czech Republic, officially launches Unitron’s North platform, along with the company’s Stride and Moxi hearing aid product families. Partners at the event are also learning more about Unitron’s Log It All, its newest solution to enhance patient experience.
“The International Partner Forum provides us with a great opportunity to interact with our valued long term partners and learn more about the state of hearing healthcare in their respective countries and markets,” said Patrick Perler, director of international sales and business development. “We are also extremely excited to introduce them to the power of North; to the Moxi and Stride product families that exemplify Unitron’s patient-centric design philosophy; and to Log It All, a unique data logging solution that along with Flex, we believe will support our partners in establishing a strong differentiation in their individual markets.”
The two-day event includes presentations from industry leaders, including market research expert and former executive director of the Better Hearing Institute, Sergei Kochkin, PhD, as well as Unitron executives and thought leaders. Topics covered include such topics as practice growth through enhanced patient loyalty, evidence-based counseling, and using digital marketing to transform clients into advocates. An associated uKnowledge Fair is providing opportunities for attendees to sample North, TrueFit, the uHear app, Unitron’s Favorite Sounds program, and available marketing and sales resources. The conference concludes with a Great White North City Rally Tour and banquet that celebrates North and Unitron’s Canadian heritage.
Also at the International Partner Forum, partners can personally experience North and the Log It All technology. Unitron’s Partners will be fitted with Moxi, powered by North, and will have the opportunity to experience North’s seven destination automatic program while attending the conference, giving them the opportunity to later view the data log of their hearing experience through the Log It All dashboard.
