More than 100 Oticon employees joined Community Hope’s Flag Day 5K and Fun Walk on June 11, marking the largest team turnout in the event’s history for the Somerset, NJ-based hearing healthcare company.
Oticon reached a new milestone in its ongoing support of veterans this June, with more than 100 employees participating in Community Hope’s Flag Day 5K and Fun Walk — the highest participation the company has seen since joining the annual event.
Held June 11, 2026, in New Jersey, the Flag Day 5K raises awareness and funds for veterans in need. Oticon Government Services played a central role in organizing and mobilizing the effort, which drew employees both in-person and virtually from across the country.
The event builds on a tradition that has grown steadily in scale and scope at Oticon. In prior years, Oticon Government Services has partnered with community organizations to benefit veterans in a variety of capacities, including supporting Homes For Our Troops and commemorating specially adapted custom home donations to veterans. The Flag Day 5K represents another extension of that commitment, with this year’s showing underscoring the depth of employee engagement behind it.
Beyond the race itself, Oticon noted the event served as an opportunity to connect with the broader community and demonstrate appreciation for those who have served. According to the company, participation in the event reflects the work carried out daily alongside government partners.
