Hearing aid battery manufacturer Rayovac held its first virtual Rayovac Live USA event, the company announced.  Held alongside the American Academy of Audiology (AAA) 2021 Virtual Conference, the Rayovac team hosted a program of talks, meetings, product innovations, and content downloads, from its interactive virtual stand. 

The company created the online platform as a way to engage with its hearing industry partners, in response to the cancellation of physical trade shows and events due to COVID-19. It follows a first Rayovac Live, which was held virtually for the European market last October. 

During the three-day event, guests joined talks from industry experts, including President of the Hearing Industries Association (HIA), Kate Carr, who explored the ‘Changing Landscape of Hearing Healthcare,’ including the increasing role of telehealth and collaborative awareness raising around hearing.

Visitors were also able to find out more about Rayovac’s latest hearing aid battery product innovation – Active Core Plus with Air Optimization Technology. 

The technology is designed to deliver top performance for modern-day devices and is Rayovac’s latest innovation for size 312, which is now 10% longer lasting**. This improves both the reliability and performance of Active Core Plus, “ensuring that no other hearing aid battery lasts longer***.”

Now, the Rayovac team is pleased to announce that the full program of talks and content will remain available at www.rayovac.live throughout May.

During the event Rayovac  shared insights into new research from a recent Energizer survey**** which found that over a third of hearing aid battery consumers are using more batteries now than they were before COVID-19. This was mainly due to more home-based activities and virtual communications, while 85% of hearing aid battery buyers report online purchasing as a new behavior since the pandemic.
