Hertzelia, Israel — DreamZon, an Israel-based developer of assistive devices for the deaf and those with hearing loss, has entered the United States market with LightOn, an alert system for mobile phones.

LightOn technology is based on special vibration sensors that are responsive only to the vibrations produced by mobile phones, while ignoring any disturbances from external sources.

When a text is received or the cell phone rings, LightOn immediately converts the vibration signals into a brightly flashing LED light that alerts the user about a new message or missed call. The LED continues to flash until the user notices the missed call and resets the unit.

DreamZon reports that it is currently looking for new distributors in the American market. It currently distributes its products in Germany, the United Kingdom, Italy, Japan, and other countries.
