The Badger Shield+ , a new product combining a face shield and mask that was developed at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, is being produced by Midwest Prototyping, according to an article on the WMTV NBC 15 website.
Badger Shield+ has a clear shield that covers the face and is sealed at the bottom by fabric; it was designed for healthcare practitioners who need their patients to be able to see their mouths while communicating. The product is still being tested for efficacy while in production.
